Funeral services for Bessie Adelaide "Ad" Beucher of Postville were held November 29 at 1:30 p.m. at the Schutte Funeral Home in Postville. The Rev. William Tjaden officiated.

Bessie "Ad" Beucher, daughter of William and Charity (McDonald) Harris, was born October 23, 1892 in Post Township, near Postville. She died November 27 at the Community Memorial Hospital, Postville.

May 10, 1917 she was married to Otto J. Beucher at the parsonage by the Rev. Gallaway. For many years they operated the bowling alley in Postville.

She is preceded in death by her husband Otto who died in 1957; a brother Herman; and three sisters, Bertha Orr, Edith Churchill, and Edna Oehring. She is survived by her sister, Glessner Webster.

Burial was in Postville Cemetery.
