Paul H. Van Brocklin, 52, of New Albin died suddenly Monday, September 7, 2009 at Gundersen-Lutheran Medical Center in LaCrosse, WI. Funeral services were held Friday, September 11 at the New Albin Community Center in New Albin, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Lansing.

Paul was born May 30, 1957 in LaCrosse, WI to Dwight and Dorothy (Stabe) Van Brocklin. He attended community college at Calmar for three years. Paul worked for Dee Implement in New Albin for 12 years, worked as a farm laborer from 1991 to 1996 and then operated a farm from 1996 to 2006. He was currently working for Innovative Ag Services in Waukon.

Paul is survived by his mother, Dorothy Van Brocklin of New Albin; and a brother, Joe Van Brocklin of New Albin; two half-brothers, Robert (Catherine) Van Brocklin of Lansing and Irvin Van Brocklin in Arizona; and two half-sisters, Florence McKee of Lansing and Joyce (Gene) Shogren of Waterville.

The Thornburg-Hanson Funeral Home in Lansing assisted the family.
