Joel Cole lost another child with diptheria on Wednesday.

~Notes: Joel Cole (age 39, b. Michigan) is enumerated on the 1870 US census, living in Post twp. Allamakee co. IA with wife Martha / Savilla (age 39, b. Maine)

Joel & Savilla are buried in the Postville cemetery Area B, so it is likely their children who died of diptheria in 1877 are also buried there.
