Bradley Larson

Bradley Earl Larson, of Dallas, Texas, formerly of Postville, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2009, in Arlington, Texas, following injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was 41.

Funeral Services were held on Monday, August 3, at the Schutte - Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Postville with the Rev. Gary Catterson officiating. Burial followed in Minert Cemetery, rural Postville. Schutte - Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Postville was in charge of arrangements.

Brad was born on June 19, 1968, in Postville, to George and June (Wickham) Larson Jr. He was baptized on August 25, 1968, at West Clermont Lutheran Church, Clermont, by the Rev. Clarence Johnson. He was also confirmed on June 6, 1982, at West Clermont Lutheran Church, Clermont, by the Rev. Dr. Bruce Wrightsman.

Brad graduated from Postville High School with the class of 1986. During high school, Brad worked at the IGA in Postville. After graduation, Brad moved to Dallas, Texas, and managed Premier Transportation and then the Rainbow Lounge in Fort Worth, Texas. Brad enjoyed traveling and music. His greatest joys in life were his family, friends and his dogs. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend and will be greatly missed by them.

Brad was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents; his partner, Matthew "Dasch" Livingston; and one uncle, Jerry Wickham.

Survivors include his mother, June (Jeff) McNally, Strawberry Point; his father, George (Rhonda) Larson, Rawlings, Md.; one sister, Brenna Cantrell (John Durnan, Jr.) Elgin; one niece, Jacinda Cantrell (Jeff Wilhelm), Midland, Texas; three great-nephews, Jayden, Skyler and Lane Bradley; half-brother, Jed (Tash) Larson and their son, Collin, Rawlings, Md.; and half-brother, Nic Larson, Rawlings, Md.
