John Ricker Rites Held in Minnesota

Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 13 in Redeemer Lutheran Church in Bagley, MN for John Chester Ricker. The Rev. David Shoemaker was the officiating minister and burial was in Bagley City Cemetery. He died Thursday Nov. 6 in Clearwater Hospital where he was a patient for five months.
Mr. Ricker was born Nov 7. 1876 in Jefferson township of Allamakee County and was a son of Chester and Abigail Burgess Ricker. He married Lydia Pieper, who preceded him in death in 1906, and in August of 1908 he married Mary Trine who died Nov. 7, 1966. He moved to Bagley 30 years ago. Survivors are two sons Lawrence E. of Waukon and Arthur L. of Monona, seven grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren three great great grandchildren also survive. A son Paul died in 1963 and a daughter Helen in 1910. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Bagley.
