Sarah Burnham of Waukon Dies
Waukon - Sarah Burnham, 100, of Waukon, oldest resident of Allamakee county, died at a Waukon hospital Thursday.Mrs. Burnham was born in a log house near Waukon. She had five sons and five daughters, all of whom are still living, as well as numerous grand-children and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Burnham observed her hundredth birthday last June 5. She made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Cecil Chapman.

Waukon - Services for Sarah Burnham, 100, Monday at 1:30 p.m. in Martin funeral home and at 2 in the Presbyterian church. Burial in Rossville cemetery.

They had the following children: Alfred Cyrus, Arthur O., Ira A., Walter Ray, Albert Delmer, Clara Estella (Mrs. William Church), Cora Ethel (Mrs. Harrie Clough), Edna M. (Mrs. Edgar Deal), Ruby Mae (Mrs. Bryan Brill) and Ruth M. who must have been Mrs. Cecil Chapman.
