Marty Erickson's Father Dies in Auto Accident

Bill Lingreen, father of Marty (Mrs. Matt Erickson), Postville, was killed in an automobile accident Saturday, Aug. 11, near St. Peter, MN.

Lingreen was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, which occurred around 10:30 p.m. Erickson's mother, Ellen, was taken to the Mankato Hospital with fractures of the hip, pelvis and ankle.

Lingreen, 61, was an electrician in Fort Dodge. Mrs. Lingreen teaches school on the elementary level in the Fort Dodge school system.

Services are pending at press. Bill is survived by his wife; two daughters, Marty, of Postville, and Jo Ellen, of Chicago; and one grandson, Nick, of Postville.
