Meikle-residence of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Meikle in Ludlow township, this county, Wednesday, February 18, 1891, after fifteen months sickness, Eliza E. Meikle, aged 18 years, 8 months and 10 days.

She was patient through all her sufferings, and trusted fully in her Savior. The funeral services were held in the Presbyteriam church at Frankville, February 21st, conducted by Rev. Heatly.

We desire to return thanks to the many friends who so kindly and sympathetically assisted us during the long sickness and death of our daughter Eliza

Eliza E. Meikle was born June 8th, 1872. She was 18 years and 8 months old. The first of her sickness was very severe but she bore it patiently and trusted fully in our Savior. She told her mother she would like to live until spring until the flowers came- but then she said there will be flowers in heaven and I may as well go now and be through with it all. A few days before she died she told her sisters to carry her to the organ and she played one of her favorite hymns, "Is My Name Written There?" She was gentle and patient to the last and was loved by all who knew her.
