MOUNTAIN FUNERAL

The funeral service for James D. Mountain of Normalville, who died Tuesday morning at his home, will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon in the Clyde B. Brooks Funeral Home at Indian Head with Rev. Robert Blank, pastor of the Mill Run E. U. B. Church, officiating. Interment will be in Normalville Cemetery.
He was born August 18, 1853, at Rossville, Iowa, a son of the late James D. and Mary Deets Mountain. He came to the Normalville community when four years old and spent the rest of his life there. He was a farmer by occupation, retiring in 1931.
His wife, Mrs. Elnora Hyatt Mountain, preceded, him in death June 10, 1928, and a son, Meade Mountain, died suddenly January 2, 1950.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Arvilla Neel of Connellsville and Miss Maude Mountain of. Normalville; one son, Lloyd of Brownsville; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
