Thomas Alan Burroughs, 4 month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Burroughs, New Albin, Iowa, died suddenly at his home on Thursday, March 13, 1969, of quick pneumonia.

He was born November 10, 1968, at Veterans Memorial Hospital, Waukon, Iowa.

Friends and relatives called at Burke Funeral Home in Lansing from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 14, and funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, New Albin. Fr. Edgar Kolfenbach offered the Mass of Angels.

The Mass servers were Vic and Paul Mauss. Burial was in St. Joseph's cemetery.

He is survived by his parents, one brother, John Michael; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Carroll of New Albin; and great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Russell of La Motte, Iowa; Mrs. Frances Carroll of New Albin; and William Carroll of Hancock, Wisconsin.
