Mrs. Olufine Sundet

FOUNTAIN, Minn. (Special) — Mrs. Olufine (Fanny) Sundet, 97, died Wednesday at Preston Nursing Home.
The former Olufine Amundson, she was born Dec. 24, 1869, near Waukon, Iowa, and moved to Minnesota at the age of four. She was confirmed at Root Prairie Lutheran Church and was married at that church June 7, 1902, to Ole Sundet, He died in 1923. She helped organize the Root Prairie Lutheran Sunday school in 1933 and was its first superintendent.
Survivors are: One son, Arnim, Faribault, Minn.; one daughter, Mrs. Melvin (Corella) Fingerson, Chatfield; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, O.J. Amundsen, Chatfield, and two sisters, Mrs. Jep (Mattie) Turner, Chatfield, and Mrs, John (Olive) Gulbranson, Flandreau, S.D.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Root Prairie Lutheran Church, the Rev. Leander Brakke officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Drury Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Friday and until noon Saturday and after that at the church.
