Mary Henry

Mary L. Henry, age 85, passed away at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon Tuesday, December 2, 2008. Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

Mary was born May 26,1923 to Theodore and Lillian (Waters) Henry. She grew up in the Lycurgus area. Her hobbies included embroidering beautiful quilts, playing bingo and euchre, and listening to country music. Her favorite song was "Ramblin' Rose".

Mary always looked her best and had a warm smile for anyone who came her way.

She is survived by her siblings, Clarence Henry of Camanche, Donna Jeffrey of Camarillo, CA, Helen Kubitz of Sparks, NV, Lillian Zeh of Las Vegas, NV, and Monica Schulte of Caledonia, MN; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence and Emmet; and her parents.
