Henry H. "Butch" Dirksen

Henry H. "Butch" Dirksen, born August 29, 1944, died Thursday, November 6, 2008 at his residence in Lee, FL. Interment services were held Monday, November 17 at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. In lieu of flowers donations to a local hospice care group in Butch's name will be appreciated.

He is survived by his faithful companion, Rita, and her daughter, Leslee; his ex-wife, Linda (Deeny), formerly of Waukon, and their children; Denise and Brad Hall, Christine and Jeff Lindsay, Steven and Christina Dirksen, Matthew and Elaine Dirksen; his sisters, Judy and Claudette; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Meighan and Herman Dirksen; and a sister, Anita Shulte.
