Rev. Bauman, 89, Dies; Minister For Five Decades
The Rev. Benjamin Raymond Bauman, retired Congregational minister, of Lincoln, died Wednesday.
The Rev. Mr. Bauman, 89, served congregations in the midwest for 51 years before his retirement in 1953.
Born In Lansing, Iowa, he graduated from Wilton (Iowa) College, and did graduate work at the University of Nebraska. He began his ministry in Davenport, Iowa.
Survivors include sons, Raymond of Lincoln and Alvin of Denver, Colo,; daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Stewart and Mrs. Gladys Hipple of Lincoln and Mrs. Ruth Schoenbard of East Lansing, Mich.; brother, Fremont of LaCrosse, Wis.; sister, Miss Ada Bauman of Lansing, Iowa.
