Cleon I. Reiser

Cleon I. Reiser, age 71, passed away June 13, 2008. He was buried June 17 at Riverside Cemetery, Hopkinsville, KY.

Cleon was born in New Albin to Earl and Alice Reiser. He attended schools in Cedar Rapids, Independence, Oneida, NY and Dallas, TX, graduating from New Albin High School.

Cleon worked road construction and farmed for a time. He served an enlistment in the National Guard that included a year of active duty during the Cuban Crisis. He spent his later years in the Tennessee/Kentucky area.

Cleon is survived by his two sisters, Shirley Weymiller and Vivian Hammer; one brother, Dale Reiser; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents and a sister, Joyce.
