Patrick Manning did not long survive his brother Thomas, the death of the former taking place on Friday last, following his brother in about three weeks time. He was in his 87th year, always a strong and healthy man. He came to America from Ireland, the place of his birth in 1845, and to this county in 1861. Like his brother he was a fine type of the real old Irish stock and a man most highly respected by those best qualified to judge him. One son, Thomas C. and two daughters survive him.
