Mrs. Iseli Last rites On Friday
Katherine (Huber) Iseli
Last rites for Mrs. Katharine Iseli will be held at Lansing Ridge Presbyterian church at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon. The Rev. Mr. James Coates will officiate, and burial will be in the church cemetery. Martin's funeral home is in charge.
Pallbearers will be Julius and Charles Rissman, Horace Clark, Herman Kerndt, William Buerger and Howard Beardmore.
Mrs. Iseli, who had been in poor health for some time, passed away Tuesday in a La Crosse hospital.
A native of Vienna, Austria where she was born Jan 27, 1885. Katharine Huber came to Allamakee county in 1915, and was married to Jacob Iseli April 6 of that year. Mr. Iseli preceded her in death. Their chidren are Jacob Iseli, Mrs. Norris (Esther) Johnson, Katharine, and Mrs. Richard (Ruth) Schultz, all with Lansing addresses. There are five grandchildren.
Remaining brothers and sisters are Mrs. Louis Medvig of Wauwautosa, Wis.; Mrs. Floyd (Ann) Sweet of Milwaukee, and Leopold and Michael Huber, both of whom are still living in Austria. Mrs. Iseli, who was a member of Lansing Ridge Presbyterian church, had lived at landmark since 1933.

Date: 8/4/2009Funeral services for Mrs. Katherine Iseli, 74, who died Tuesday night at a La Crosse hospital, have been shifted to 2 p.m. Saturday at Lansing Ridge Presbyterian Church in Churchtown. Burial will be in Lansing Ridge Cemetery.
