Charles Heidemann
Charles Henry Heidemann, 72, of Waterloo, formerly of Manchester, died Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at Covenant Medical Center of a heart attack. There will be no services or visitation. His body has been cremated. There will be graveside services for family and friends Saturday, April 26 at 10:30 a.m. at Mays Prairie Cemetery, Lansing.
He was born April 28, 1935 in Lansing, the son of Harold W. Heidemann, Sr. and Pearl Mae (Ingles) Heidemann. He married Patricia Mae Kelly August 25, 1957 in Memphis, MO and they were later divorced. Charles worked on a farm near Manchester for several years before moving to the Waterloo area.
Survivors include a son, Jeffery (Connie) of Fairbank; a daughter, Pamela Schoepske of Juneau, AK; three grandchildren; a sister, Betty (Jim) Heidemann Carter, of Harpers Ferry; and a brother, Harold, of Mount Vernon. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Dorothy Welper and Ruth Cole, both of Waukon.
