MRS. ARTHUR (Nancy Elaine Livingood) ROTHMEYER
Memorial services for Mrs. Arthur Rothmeyer, nee Nancy Livingood, will be held at the Community Presbyterian Church, Postville, today, Wednesday, September 22 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Dick Harberts officiating.
Death occurred September 15, 1976 at the Cancer Research Clinic at Colorado General Hospital, Denver, Colorado.
Services were conducted at Paradise Valley Christian Church, Casper, Wyoming, Saturday, September 18 at two o'clock for relatives and friends. The couple had decided on cremation, and at her request, sprinkling of ashes over the mountains near Kaycee, Wyoming, was done by the immediate family by airplane Monday, September 20. The Rev. Terry Berlin officiated.
Nancy Elaine Livingood was born January 30, 1947 near Postville, the daughter of William and Roberta Ralston Livingood. She was baptized and confirmed at the Community Presbyterian Church, Postville. She graduated from Postville high school.
On February 3, 1968, she was married to Arthur Rothmeyer in Ossian at the Community Presbyterian Church, by the Rev. Walt T. Martin. Since that time the couple made their home in Denver and Boulder, Colorado and Casper, Wyoming where her husband is employed as a so____ [paper tore here] Technician. She was active in the Grant School System, serving many capacities.
Preceding her in death were her twin brother and sister Marvin and Marilyn; her grandfather, Cecil Livingood of Postville; her grandmother, Mrs. E. J. Ralston, Waukon.
Survivors are her two sons, Shawn and Shane; her husband, her parents, a sister, Mrs. Frank (Phyllis) Wickham, Waterloo; brother, Cyril Livingood, Postville; grandmother Amanda Livingood, Postville and grandfather Earl J. Ralston, Waukon, and other relatives.
