John C. Renzman

Funeral services are being held this afternoon, Wednesday, for John C. Renzman, 58, who passed away October 31 following a lingering illness.

Services are being held at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Rev. Charles E. Witt in charge. Burial will be in Postville cemetery.

John C. Renzman, son of Fritz Renzman and his wife Willamina Schultz, was born July 25, 1895 on a farm near Postville. He was baptized in infancy and confirmed in St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church on March 20, 1910.

He was united in marriage at Austin, Minnesota, on October 11, 1932 to Lila Gulsvig. They made their home in Postville, where Mr. Renzman was employed by the Home Oil Company for 24 years. He passed away on October 31, 1953 after a lingering illness. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving him are his wife, two daughters, Betty and Marsha, and one sister, Mrs. Frank (Ella) Hangartner of Postville.
