Mary E. Bulman of Waukon, a resident of the Good Samaritan Home, died there on Sunday, March 10, 1985.

She was born in Allamakee County March 19, 1901, a daughter of Barney and Maria (Landmeier) Spiegler. She attended local schools and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She married Clarence Bulman September 4, 1925. They farmed in Allamakee County for many years.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Colleen) Nash of Waukon; and Mrs. James (Betty) Snitker of Cedar Rapids; two sons, Barton of Caledonia, Minnesota; and Gary of Waukon; 17 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1978; a granddaughter; brothers, Will, Barney, John, Frank and Henry; and sisters Sophie, Ida, Annie and Louise.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 13, at 1:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery.

The Martin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
