MRS. HAROLD (Alma Lawson) BROWN

Rites Are Held For Mrs. Brown

Funeral services were held Thursday from the Schutte Funeral home for Mrs. Harold Brown, 57, who passed away at her home in Austin, Minnesota on February 3, Rev. Curtis H. Webster of the Forest Mills E. U. B. Church officiated. Burial was made in the Postville cemetery.

Alma Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lawson of Postville, was born June 12, 1896 at Postville and passed away at her home in Austin, Minnesota, February 3, 1953.

Mrs. Brown was born and reared in Allamakee county and spent most of her life in this community.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Harold; two daughters: Marie, Mrs. Lyle Monthel, of Jefferson, and Dorothy, Mrs. DuWayne Bulman of Ames; three step children, Marian, Mrs. Racine, of Concord, California, Betty, Mrs. R. E. Olson of St. Paul, Minnesota, and Harold Brown, Jr. of St. Paul, Minnesota; nine grandchildren. Also her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lawson of Postville, two brothers, Elwood of Caledonia, Minnesota and Harold of McGregor; one sister, Mrs. John Dundee of Waukon, and a host of nephews and nieces.

During her illness she was cared for by her daughter, Mrs. DuWayne Bulman.
