FLOYD G. MEYER
LA CRESCENT, Minn. -Floyd G. Meyer, 56, of 519 S. 5th St., LaCrescent, died today in a LaCrosse hospital. No cause of death was given.
He was born Dec. 4, 1908, in Cando, N.D., to Mr. and Mrs. Gustav Meyer. Before his retirement, he was employed by Kenard Buick.
Survivors are his widow, the former Florence Kaapz; one daughter, Mrs. John (LaVonnne) Stafslein of LaCrosse; one son, Donald of LaCrescent; his mother, Mrs. Anna Buckendahl of Onalaska; one sister, Mrs. Elmer (Maxine) Troendle of Waukon, Iowa; one brother, Merlin of West Union, Iowa, and six grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his father and one brother.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday from St. John’s Reformed United Church of Christ in La Crosse. Rev. Calvin Hay will officiate. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery in La Crescent. Friends may call at the Sletten-McKee-Hanson Funeral Home in La Crosse from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and at the church Wednesday from 1 p.m. until the time of services.

Mrs. Gustave Meyer was Annie Spiegler of Dorchester, Iowa. Her second husband was William Buckendahl.
