Jessica Goeke

Jessica Goeke, age 28 years, two months, and 18 days, of Postville passed away Monday, October 8, 2007 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Funeral services were held Friday, October 12, 2007 at the Schutte Funeral Home in Postville, with Pastor Lynn Hanna officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date.

Jessica Ann Goeke was born July 20, 1979 at Iowa City to Gary Allan Heins and Sandra Kay Goeke. She was baptized April 3, 1988 in St. Paul Lutheran Church at Postville by the Reverend Julius Peterson. Jessica attended Postville High School. She was employed by Monona Wire and then by Northern Engraving in Waukon. She liked horses and driving her car.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Ernie Heins, and maternal grandfather, Robert Goeke, and an uncle, Dean Willis.

Surviving are her parents, Gary Heins and Sandra Goeke, maternal grandparents, Richard and Beulah Fadness of West Union, and aunts and uncles.
