Kenneth J. Kelly of Walnut Creek, CA passed away Sunday, Sept. 30, 2007 at the age of 89. A Mass of Christian burial was held for Kenneth Friday, Oct. 5 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Walnut Creek. Interment took place at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, OR.
Kenneth was born in New Albin October 9, 1917 and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Kenneth belonged to the USS Alabama Crewman's Assoc., the Naval Mustang Assoc., the U.S. Navy Memorial and the U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officers Associations. Following his naval career he worked as a sales engineer until his retirement in 1979. Kenneth was a parishioner at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Frances Mary Kelly; and six nieces and six nephews. His sister, Helen Montague, and brother, Leo J. Kelly, preceded him in death.
