MRS. HENRY (Donna Joan Van Sickle) MUELLER, Jr.

Funeral services were conducted Friday, December 13 at 2:00 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, Luana, for Mrs. Henry Mueller, Jr. who died Tuesday, December 10 at the hospital in LaCrosse, where she had undergone surgery.

Donna Joan Mueller was the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Van Sickle of Postville. She was born on a farm near Maynard June 8, 1934 and baptized Easter Sunday, 1935 in the Randalia Methodist Church.

Her early childhood was spent in the Maynard, Randalia and Fayette areas. She graduated from Fayette high school and continued her education at Upper Iowa College, Fayette. She taught in the Luana and MFL school systems.

On June 19, 1955 she was united in marriage to Henry Mueller, Jr. in the first Methodist church, Fayette. They became parents of three children. Daniel died at birth.

Survivors include her husband, her two children, Timothy and Janna at home; her parents the Donald Van Sickles of Postville; three brothers, Doyle of Fort Riley, Kansas; James of Beaverton, Oregon; Richard of Port Lucie, Florida; three sisters, Mrs. Bill (Annabel) Peabody of Beaverton, Oregon; Mrs. Durwood (Kay) Bergholt, Fayette and Mrs. Wes (Linda) Wietz of Hamlin, New York.

Interment was in St. John Lutheran cemetery, Luana.
