Milton Earl "Nick" Niclai, 77, of Grants Pass, Oregon, died Monday, November 17, 1992, at Rogue Valley Medical Center.
A family memorial gathering will be held. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.
He was born December 13, 1919, at New Albin, Iowa, and moved with his family at the age of one to Los Angeles, where he grew up. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy.
He worked as an engineer at Lockheed Corporation in Burbank, California, for 34 years, retiring in
1975.On February 16, 1974, in Fallbrook, California, he married the former Mary White, who survives. In 1976, they moved to Grants Pass.
He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and served as president of the Wilderville Irrigation District for the past 14 years.
He loved to hunt, fish and garden.
In addition to his wife, Mary Niclai of Grants Pass, survivors include two sisters, Faye Roloson of Issaquah, Washington; and Phyllis Garner of Prescott, Arizona; six nieces and nephews, and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews.
