LA CRESCENT, Minn./CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Anna Mae (Schwartzhoff) Helming, 96, of La Crescent and formerly of Cedar Rapids died Friday, July 27, 2007, at Onalaska (Wis.) Care Center. She was born in Dorchester, Iowa, on June 20, 1911, to Herman and Molly
(Danaher) Schwartzhoff. Anna was married to John Albert Helming on Jan. 28, 1934. She is survived by two sons, Kenneth David (Norma) Helming of La
Crescent
and John Ronald (Carol) Helming of Chaska, Minn.; three grandchildren, Mark Helming, Minda (Dan) Hesselberg and Melissa (fiancé Rickie Neumann) Helming; one great-granddaughter, Sarah Jean Helming-Olson; four stepgrandchildren, Kim Hammers, Annmarie Biebighauser, Stephanie Wankel and Madonna Grapentine; and 13 step-great-grandchildren. She was
preceded
in death by her parents; her husband, John; and 12 brothers and sisters.
