Mrs. Sophia Pliester of Decorah Passes Monday
Mrs. Sophie Pliester, the venerable mother of Fred W. Pliester, passed away at the home of her son in Decorah on Monday at an advanced age.
The funeral was held here on Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock from the Community church, Rev. R. F. Galloway officiating. Interment was made in the Postville cemetery.
The sympathy of all is extended to those who mourn the passing of this estimable lady.

Death was in 1938. This was on the same saved page as my great-grandmothers obit and was probably from the Postville Herald. Thought someone might be interested.
