Husband of Lansing girl is dead

Masonic funeral services were held Monday at the Congregational church in Cresco for A. L. Peterson who passed away at his home Saturday from heart complications. The Reverend Arthur D. Phelps officiated at the services.

All business houses were closed during the hour of the funeral.

Mr. Peterson was born in Chicago, April 7, 1874, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Peterson. In 1907 Mr. Peterson began operating the Electric Specialty Company, now one of Cresco's largest industries.

Mr. Peterson was married December 25, 1921 to Miss Klara Thorsten of Lansing, who besides a sister, survives him.

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Thorsten, Mr. and Roy Thorsten and Miss Adela Hufschimide of lansing attended the funeral.
