Dora Bell Fish, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Fish, was born at Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Jan. 13 1882. She came with her parents to Allamakee Co, when but a young girl. She was married to Armstrong Hawkins, Sept. 24, 1897 and died Dec. 1 1914, aged 32 years, 10 months and 18 days. The funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church at Rossville, Rev. Van Nice officiating. She leaves to mourn her husband and three children, Mrs. Flossie McMullen, Jerry Arthur and Sidney Levi Hawkins. She also leaves her father and mother and three sisters and four brothers, Lydia Jane Vickery, Nellie May Roffman, Minnie Edna Beall, James Albert, Jessie Edward, Peter Ivester, and Earnest Leonard Fish
The Thomas Fish and Armstrong Hawkins families desire to return grateful acknowledgement for all the kindness show them, in their bereavement by friends and neighbors.

Date: 8/9/2009Mrs. Dora Hawkins died yesterday and was buried in Rossville. She leaves a husband and three children, besides her parents, 3 sisters and 4 brothers.
