DECREED BY DEATH.

The New Year Brings Sorrow Instead of Happiness to Two Families.

LEONARD SANDRY.

Instead of the customary gladsome greetings on New Year's day the dark shadow of death encircled
the home of Hon. A. Sandry of this township, his son Leonard, aged about 31 years, having died the previous evening. Deceased had been ailing off and on for a number of years. He was the third son and his demise is the first break in the completed golden family circle of five sons and five daughters. This makes the loss all the harder. Mr. and Mrs. Sandry have the sympathy of all in their bereavement. The funeral occurred Monday afternoon, interment taking place in May's Prairie cemetery.
