Lansing, Ia. - Services for John Cassidy, past 80, will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday from the Burke funeral home to Immaculate Conception church, with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. H.C. Scharphoff officiating. Burial will be in Wexford cemetery where the Rev. Maurice Tracey will officiate.

Cassidy died Saturday in Kansas City at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Angella Hamilton, where he had lived for two months.

He was born in Allamakee county, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Cassidy. He was twice married, first to Bridget Kelleher, and after her death to Mrs. Mabel Highhouse, who died last May 3.

He is survived by his daughter three grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
