The death of Stella M. Kolsrud, 73, of Waukon, occurred Sunday, June 6, 1976, at Mercy Hospital, Cedar Rapids.

Funeral services were held today at 1:30 p.m. from Waterville Lutheran Church, of which she was a member, with the Rev. Roger Zieg officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Stella, Mrs. Hartley H. "Harty" Kolsrud, age 73, of Waukon, Iowa, died Sunday, June 6, 1976 in Mercy Hospital, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 9 at 1:30 p.m. in Waterville Lutheran Church with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Roger Zieg will officiate. Pallbearers will be Richard Geving, Donald Snitker, Gary Kolsrud, Paul Selberg, Barton Hamm, and Carlyle Kolsrud. Martin Funeral Home, Waukon is in charge of arrangements.

Stella was born September 26, 1902 in Allamakee County to Sander and Anna (Hanson) Kolsrud. She married Harty Kolsrud in Wisconsin on August 27, 1925. He died May 22, 1973. She was educated in the local schools and was a housewife. She was employed as a telephone operator in Waterville for 20 years.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Helmer Kolsrud, Sidney Kolsrud, Dewey Kolsrud, and Odin Kolsrud and 2 sisters, Bertha Kolsrud, and Thelma Gjefle.

She is survived by a son Dale Kolsrud of Cedar Rapids,Iowa, a sister, Mrs. Theodore (Esther) Geving of Waukon, Iowa and 3 brothers, Gilman Kolsrud and Floyd Kolsrud, both of Waterville, Iowa and Tennis Kolsrud of Dubuque, Iowa and four grandchildren.
