Eleanor Chamney Freiling­er, 59, of New Albin died Thurs­day, February 27, 1992, in Uni­versity of Iowa Hospitals, Iowa City.

Eleanor is survived by her husband, Merlin Freilinger of New Albin; four sons, Dennis Chamney of Denver; Richard and Brian Chamney, both of Waterloo; and Bruce Chamney of Bennett; a daughter, Sara Prizler of Davenport; a brother, Jack Rockufeler of Kansas; a sister, Marjorie Abbott of Ma­son City; her mother, Elna
Rockufeler of Mason City; and two granddaughters, Erica and Carissa Chamney.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Chamney in 1965, and her fa­ther, John Rockufeler.

Services were held Sunday, March 1, at 3 p.m in Chenowith and Son Funeral Home, Nashua, IA. The Reverend Alice Rich­ards of New Hope United Meth­odist Church in Red Mound, WI, officiated at the service. Bu­rial was in Oak Hill Cemetery, Nashua, IA.
