Gregory A. Meyer, 36, New Albin, died Saturday, Dec. 31, 1988, in Lutheran Hospital, La Crosse, WI. The cause of death was a pulmonary embolism resulting from a skiing accident.
He was born Sept. 18, 1952, in Caledonia, MN to Harry and Evelyne (Peterson) Meyer.
He was a 1ifelong resident of the New Albin area and a 1970 graduate of Waukon High School. He also graduated from Lincoln Technical School, Des Moines.
Meyer was a mechanic for Dee Implement and farmed in the Union City Township area.
He was a member of St. Luke's United Church of Christ, Eitzen, MN, and a former council member of the church.
Survivors are his parents of New Albin; and two sisters, Shirley Meyer of Dorchester and Carol Ashland of Minneapolis, MN.
Services were held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in St. Luke's United Church of Christ, Eitzen. The Rev. Lane Zaffke officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Haugen-Roble Funeral Home, Caledonia was in charge of arrangements.
