George H. Middendorf, 74, Caledonia, Minn., died at 12:30 a.m. Thursday after a short illness.

The son of Gerhardt and Caro­line (Welper) Middendorf, he was born in Winnebago Township, Houston County, Minn., October 11, 1897. He married Anna Klinski. They farmed in Crooked Creek town­ship until retiring in 1964.

Survivors are his wife; one son, LaMoine of Caledonia; one daughter, Mrs. Au­drey Petersen, Hokah, Minn.; 13 grandchildren; four brothers, Edward and Elmer of Caledonia, Minn.; Walter of New Albin, Ia. and Franklin of Lansing, Ia.; and two sisters, Mrs. Ella Muenkel of Caledonia, Minn. and Mrs. Alvina Roe­ber of New Albin, Ia. One sister has died.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Caledonia, the Rev. Marvin Doelger officiating, with burial in Evergreen Ceme­tery.

Friends may call at. Potter-­Haugen Funeral Home, Cale­donia, Friday afternoon and evening and Saturday at the church from 1 p.m.
