Services Held For Former Resident

Funeral services were held for Gordon A. Brainard, 28, at Olson-Peterson Funeral Home in Forest City, Iowa, Saturday, December 17, at 11:00 a.m. He passed away December 12, 1977 at St. Mary's Hospital, Duluth, Minn.

Interment was in Oakland Cemetery, Forest City.

Survivors are his parents, Mrs. Margaret Brainard of Forest City, Charles G. Brainard of Postville, five brothers and two sisters, George of Montana, Harvey of Las Vegas, Clinton, Neal and Earl, all of Postville, Mrs. Garvin (Marion) Nienhaus of Forest City, Mrs. Glenn (Jeanann) Warner of Rochester, Minn.; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Paul Tomlinson of Los Angeles, Calif. Also six nieces, two nephews and many aunts and uncles. Gordon attended Postville school.
