Joseph Bulman Dies; Retired Contractor

Joseph H. Bulman, 65, a retired bridge contractor, died at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday at his home, 731 Fifth avenue, Marion.
Born Sept. 8, 1883, near Dorchester, Ia.. He was married to Martha Verthein Feb. 5, 1908, in Allamakee county. Mrs. and Mrs. Bulman moved to Marion 13 years ago. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Schroeder, and a granddaughter, Diana Sue Schroeder, both of Marion; a sister, Mrs. John White of Postville, and two brothers Bert Bulman of Waukon and William Bulman of Postville.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Yocom chapel by the Rev. C. V. R. De Jong. Burial will be in Cedar Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
