Clarence Wendel Rites at Waukon

Clarence Wendel, 73. died suddenly at his home near Churchtown on Friday, October 28, 1977.

He was born on October 10, 1904 to John W. and Bertha Englehorn Wendel at Churchtown.

He is survived by five brothers, Howard and Kermit of Lansing, Robert of Fairmont, Minnesota, Harry of Florida, and Alfred of Spring Grove, Minnesota. His only sister, Lillian Steiber, is deceased.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 P.M. on Monday at the Martin Funeral Home in Waukon with Rev. Henry Heinbuch officating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery at Lansing.

Pallbearers were Glen, Gary and Dave Wendel, Harlan Steiber, Donald Aldrich and James Gordon.
