Luella Wiemerslage, 94, of Spring Grove, died Sunday, December 21, 2003, at Tweeten Health Services in Spring Grove. She was born March 18, 1909, in Blackhammer Twp, rural Spring Grove, to Ole and Othilja (Moen) Myhre. She was baptized and confirmed at Blackhammer Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was a lifelong area resident and attended Spring Grove Public School. On February 9, 1934, she married Henry (Boots) Wiemerslage and he preceded her in death on February 17, 1981.
Luella was a member of St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Eitzen, MN.
She is survived by her brother, Milton Myhre, Spring Grove; her sister, Palma Holland, Spring Grove; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by five sisters, Genette Rosaaen, Anna Doely, Olive Bergsrud, Emily Ellestad and Barbara Burtness and three brothers, Orlando, Rudolph and Kenneth Myhre.
Services will be Saturday, December 27, 10:30 a.m. at St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Eitzen with burial in the church cemetery. Pastor Wayne Lura will officiate. Friends may call Friday from 5-7 p.m. at Roble Funeral Home in Spring Grove and one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
