Mrs. William Bullman of Union City, a lady much respected and esteemed by all who knew her, died last Saturday of paralysis, and was buried on Sunday.

DIED - In Union City township, on the 8th inst., of paralysis, Ann, wife of Wm. Bulman.

In the decease of Mrs. Bulman the community in which she lived and the church of which she was a member not less than the family circle of which she was the light, sustain no little loss.

Coming to this state twenty-one years ago, and at that time taking up her abode on the "English Bench," where she spent the remainder of her days, she was one of the oldest residents of this township. A woman of great natural strength of character, firmness of will and upright principle, her influence was felt by all with whom she associated.

Received into the communion of Mount Hope Presbyterian Church in the spring of [?1866 or 1856], having embraced Christ, however, some years previous. She lived a truthful disciple of her Master to the end, and, notwithstanding, serious physical infirmity consequent upon a severe paralytic stroke some five years since, she was cheerful while watching and waiting the call of her Master.

The summons came very suddenly to her while actively engaged in household duties, and apparently in usual health, between three and four o'clock p.m. of the 8th inst. She became immediately unconscious and so remained till about eight o'clock of the same day when her spirit took its flight.

Her funeral was attnended at her late residence, at two p.m., Sunday the 10th inst. by a large concourse of neighbors and friends who appreciated her qualities.
