Winifred L. Teff

Dorchester, Iowa - Winifred L. Teff, 80, Dorchester, died Sunday, Jan. 24, 1988, in her home.
She was born Aug. 12, 1907, in Jamestown, N. D., to Mike and Mary (Waters) Casey.
She married Christian Teff Nov. 18, 1930. He died in June, 1981.
She taught school before her marriage.
Survivors are eight daughters, Ruth Watry, Phyllis Knopes and Jeanne Fetting, all of Janesville, Marrianne Mahr and Suzanne Bresnahan, both of Dorchester, Marlene Meiners of Caledonia, and Barb Williams of Lansing; four sons, Harold of Waukon, Gerald of Lenoir, N. C., Robert of Phoenix, Ariz.., and John of Tempe, Ariz.; 46 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren: a sister, Evelyn Mahr of Vinton, Iowa.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Dorchester. Father Sharper will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the Hanson Funeral Home, Waukon, where a rosary will be said at 3 p.m. and a Scripture service at 8 p.m.
