Elaine Casten

Elaine Casten, 78, of Waukon (formerly of Postville) died Wednesday morning July 19, 2006 at the Good Samaritan Center in Waukon following a brief illness. A private graveside service will be held at the Postville Cemetery.

Elaine Casten was born February 8, 1928 near Postville to Lorenz and Irene (Dickman) Casten.

Survivors include one brother, Leon (Karen) Casten of West Des Moines, Iowa and one sister, Mary (Hugh) Wurmle, Waterloo, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John H. Casten.
