Marjorie M. (Clark) Rompot, 86, of Harpers Ferry, formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2006, at Thornton Manor in Lansing after a long illness. As per Marjorie’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service, just private family entombment held in Cedar Memorial Mausoleum, with Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids in charge of arrangements.

Marjorie was born May 27, 1920, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Claude and Bessie Cach Clark. Marjorie married Robert “Bob” Rompot July 1, 1939. He passed away June 16, 1985.

Marjorie is survived by her brother, Harry Clark; two nephews, David and Gerald Clark; and several great-nieces and great-nephews, all of the Cedar Rapids area. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister, Martha Clark.

Friends may, if they wish, make memorials in Marge’s name to Thornton Manor, Harpers Ferry Library or Ambulance Service, or the charity of your choice.
