Sophia Stock Died Monday at Decorah Hospital
Funeral Services Will Be Conducted Here Wednesday Afternoon

Sophia Stock, 79, died Monday morning at the Decorah hospital where she had been receiving care for the past two weeks. She had been ill for some time.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Stock, she was born November 27, 1868, in Jefferson township. She spent her early life in Allamakee county, finally moving to the Dakotas where she kept house for her brothers, William and Henry Stock. She returned to Allamakee county about five years ago and during the past winter had been making her home with her niece, Mrs. Gertrude Roth.

She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Fred Steffen of Dillar, Neb., and five brothers, C.G. Stock, August Stock and Louis Stock, all of Waukon; T.B. Stock, of Decorah, and Edward Stock, Goldsmith, Texas. Two brothers, William and Henry, preceeded her in death.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Martin's funeral home, and at Zion Reformed church at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Edmond Hennig officiating. Burial will take place in Ebenezer cemetery, southeast of Waukon.
