D., Wheaton (Ill) Coll. 1916; m. Effie Cornelia Forest. Nov. 10, 1892; children- Merle Paul, Helen (Mrs. R. E. Beebe), Arthur Eugene, Margaret (Mrs. H.M. Morgan) Ruth. Pres. Ellsworth Coll., Iowa Falls, Ia. 1892-94; ordained Congl. ministry, 1894; pastor Harvey, Ill. 1894-96. Bethel Ch. Chicago, 1896-99; evangelistic work, 1899-l930 C (delivered over 8,000 addresses in 36 States, 150,000 confessed conversions), pastor Morgan Park Presbyn. Ch., Chicago, 1930, 31, First Presbyn Ch.
