Herbert J. Metcalf - A well-known Newspaper Man from Northeastern Iowa - Lansing - the Agressive Secretary of the State Defense Council.

Born August 24, 1879, is now editor of the 'New Albin Globe', and is perhaps the youngest editor in the state.

Son of George W. & Eva (Strong) Metcalf.
