Arnold Spring, a farmer living near Brooks, committed suicide on the morning of the 10th by cutting his throat with a prunning knife.

Transcriber’s Note: Find-a-Grave indicates he is buried in Methodist Grove Cemetery and that he was born August 2, 1841 and died November 9, 1905.
