Doris Vivian Carothers Kernen
Doria Vivian Kernen, 87, of Long Beach, Calif., was returned to Nodaway, Iowa, for burial June 12, 1987. She was born in Adams County, Iowa, Feb. 18, 1900, the daughter of Fred and Jennie Carothers.
She was united in marriage with Charles Kernen. Three children were born to bless this union. They lived 32 years at Glidden, Iowa.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; and one son, Randolph.
Survivors include a son, Lysle Kernen; a daughter, Wilma Tranter; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held at the Nodaway Cemetery, Nodaway, Iowa, June 12 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Steve Wainwright officiating.
